چکیده

In this article, we examine the superconducting properties of lowand high-Tc magnetic superconductors in magnetic fields close to the first penetration field. Attention is paid to the properties that relate to the interactions between antiferromagnetism and superconductivity. It is suggested that several features characterizing the interplay between magnetic and superconducting subsystems in low-Tc superconductors can also be present in high-Tc materials, however, they have not been observed for any non-substituted antiferromagnetic superconductors of the Y123 type. For the Gd1+xBa2−xCu3O7−δ compound, a peak in the temperature dependence of the ac susceptibility has been found for x = 0.2 near the Néel temperature of the Gd sublattice. This peak is attributed to the suppression of superconducting persistent currents due to the pair breaking effect that results from the enhanced magnetic fluctuations in the vicinity of the phase transition temperature. This observation indicates that the interaction between magnetic and conducting electrons is present for the composition with x = 0.2, where magnetism is enhanced and superconductivity diminished.

1 High-field magnetoresistive effects in reduced-dimensionality organic metals and superconductors Summary. The large charge-transfer anisotropy of quasi-one-and quasi-two-dimensional crystalline organic metals means that magnetoresistance is one of the most powerful tools for probing their bandstructure and interesting phase diagrams. Here we review various magnetoresistance phenomena that are...

Normal State Property of the t-J Model

Using the spin-hole coherent state representation and taking a long range antiferromagnetic Nèel order as a background of the localized spin degree part, we have studied the normal state behavior of the t-J model, and shown that a strongly short-range antiferromagnetic correlation of the localized spin degree part is responsible for the anomalous non-Korringa-like relaxation behavior of the pla...

High-field magnetoresistive effects in low-dimensional organic metals and superconductors

Quasi-two-dimensional crystalline organic metals and superconductors are very flexible systems in the study of many-body effects and unusual mechanisms for superconductivity [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]. Their “soft” lattices enable one to use relatively low pressures to tune the same material through a variety of low-temperature groundstates, for example from Mott insulator via intermingled antiferro...

Hyperfine Interactions in the Heavy Fermion CeMIn5 Systems

The CeMIn5 heavy fermion compounds have attracted enormous interest since their discovery six years ago. These materials exhibit a rich spectrum of unusual correlated electron behavior, and may be an ideal model for the high temperature superconductors. As many of these systems are either antiferromagnets, or lie close to an antiferromagnetic phase boundary, it is crucial to understand the beha...

Type-1.5 superconducting state from an intrinsic proximity effect in two-band superconductors.

We show that in multiband superconductors, even an extremely small interband proximity effect can lead to a qualitative change in the interaction potential between superconducting vortices by producing long-range intervortex attraction. This type of vortex interaction results in an unusual response to low magnetic fields leading to phase separation into domains of two-component Meissner states ...
